The model is progressed from a design-intent level to a fabrication-ready level, so brackets, cassettes and glazing units come off the model with their interfaces already resolved. We agree the LOD the project actually needs rather than over-modelling detail no one will use.
Federation with structure and M&E
The façade model is federated — overlaid — with the structural and M&E models so clashes are found across trades, not within the façade alone. A façade that is internally consistent but fouls a beam or a duct has not been coordinated; federation is what makes the check real.
