Façade Systems Compared — Curtain Wall, Structural Glazing & Rainscreen — Facade Ghana

Façade Systems Compared — Curtain Wall, Structural Glazing & Rainscreen

Stick vs unitised curtain wall, structural glazing vs capped, ventilated rainscreen and window-wall — compared on how they are built, speed, best building height, performance and relative cost. The system-selection authority for Ghana, with the real performance standards (ASTM E283/E331/E330, AAMA 501, EN 1090). Facade Ghana, since 1982.

Unitised Curtain Wall Systems — Facade Ghana

Unitised Curtain Wall Systems

Unitised curtain wall for Ghana high-rise: factory-assembled, storey-high units that lock together at weather-sealed interlocks for fast, quality-controlled tower install — performance-tested to ASTM E283 (air), E331 (water) and E330 (structural wind load). Facade Ghana, since 1982.

Ventilated Rainscreen Systems — Facade Ghana

Ventilated Rainscreen Systems

Ventilated rainscreen façade engineering by Facade Ghana for Accra — a back-ventilated, drained cavity behind an outer skin of ACP, ceramic, terracotta or fibre-cement, engineered for thermal and moisture performance in a tropical climate, with fire-classed skins to EN 13501-1. Since 1982.

Structural Glazing (Frameless) — Facade Ghana

Structural Glazing (Frameless)

Structural silicone glazing and frameless glass façades engineered by Facade Ghana for Accra — glass structurally bonded to the frame for minimal sightlines and a flush exterior, performance-tested to ASTM E283/E331/E330 and AAMA 501, with the silicone-bond QA discipline that makes it safe. Since 1982.

Stick-Built Curtain Wall — Facade Ghana

Stick-Built Curtain Wall

Stick-built curtain wall for Ghana: mullions, transoms and glazing assembled piece-by-piece on site — flexible, site-tolerant, and performance-tested to ASTM E283 (air), E331 (water) and E330 (structural wind load). Facade Ghana, since 1982.

Solar-Optimised Facade Engineering — Facade Ghana

Solar-Optimised Facade Engineering

Solar- and thermal-optimised façade engineering for the tropics — low-E / solar-control glass, solar-heat-gain-coefficient (SHGC), external shading and brise-soleil, orientation and glazing ratio engineered to cut cooling load across Ghana. Facade Ghana, since 1982.

How we work

A 7-step process built for institutional procurement.

  1. Free Site Survey

Every brief starts with a free on-site survey by a named Project Office member. We never quote on phone-only briefings — the survey calibrates substrate, traffic, and specification.

  2. Custom Specification

Material selection, system design, and finish standard documented per project — calibrated to procurement, FM, and architectural teams.

  3. Written Quote

Itemised, scope-defined, and timeline-bound. Issued in writing alongside the warranty terms specific to the service category.

  4. Mobilization

Materials sourced and logistics coordinated by the Project Office. Site protection plan signed off before crew arrives.

  5. Execution

Crew arrives under named-supervisor leadership. You receive milestone updates at: kickoff · mobilization · 50% complete · QA pass · handover.

  6. Quality Assurance

Independent QA against the written specification — flatness, finish, chemistry, anti-static where required. Results documented in the handover pack.

  7. Handover & Warranty

Site walk-through with the Project Office member who owned the project end-to-end. Written warranty issued; client receives the full handover pack.

Project Office

A named specialist owns every project. Not a call centre.
