A frameless face for a hotel tower
An international hotel operator in Airport City required a street-facing elevation that reads as a continuous sheet of glass — no pressure caps, minimal sightlines. Facade Ghana engineered the structural-silicone glazing to AAMA guidance, ran batch adhesion testing on every silicone lot, and verified weathertightness bay by bay before sign-off.
The hospitality brief added its own constraint: guest floors stayed in service during the programme, so lifting and glazing sequences were planned around occupancy. Handover included the full silicone QA file and the test records the operator’s technical team asked to keep on file.
